The writing team for the book was initiated. The team consisted of Anne Cunningham as editor, Kathy Hagerty as writing assistant, Ranjana Basu as content writer.
Edrich Richards of the Public Health Agency of Canada comes to visit the Society and the book project members on January 17. |

The proposal for an addendum to the book project was approved. The project was expanded for translation into Cree and Inuktitut. |
| April 2007 |
Conference hosted by Cowichan Valley Hospice in partnership with us was held at the Quw'utsun' Cultural and Conference Centre. |
| May 2007 |
Rackcards were printed and distributed throughout the valley with donations from Wilma Johanessma, Garth Harvey and Hemlock Printers. David & Diana Pink donated design services.
Third annual The Shawnigan Lake Walk was held on May 27 from the Shawnigan Lake Community Centre. |

The first analysis of caregiver stress scale data was made by Heather Payne of Community Health Consulting.
The second draft of the book was completed.
Application for funds from Gaming was submitted. |
| October 2007 |
The book project translation to Cree and French were begun. Design of English version was started by Pink Creative Concepts.
It was agreed with The Public Health Agency of Canada that we would not proceed with translation into Inuktitut because of increased production costs. |
| November 2007 |
Proposal for a second addendum for the book project was submitted.
The One Human Family Gospel choir performed a benefit concert at the Duncan United Church. They helped us raise $1800.
Caregiver Craft team had a weekend table at Christmas Chaos and raised $500.
We received notice of a $10 000 grant from Gaming for the Communications Program. |

Maggie and Kathy organized our Caregiving Christmas Tree.
The Cree translation of the book was completed.
