Sharon is a lawyer who focused her attention on helping seniors and their families with legal issues in her private practice. Since December 2005 she has been the Executive Director of Caregivers Nova Scotia Association, which is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing practical supports and recognition to family caregivers.
Sharon is a Charter Member of the Canadian Initiative for Elder Planning Studies. She achieved her EPC designation in January 2004. EPC is an acronym for Elder Planning Counselor.
Community involvement is important to Sharon. She is a member of the Board Directors of Ocean View Manor which is an accredited long term care facility in Nova Scotia |
